Shelley draws inspiration from travel, fashion, music, feelings and emotions.  Her art is an act of self expression and a means to find balance in the quiet and the busy. Her pieces can be heavy and layered with free strokes or light and minimal with intentional marks. Shelley does not consider herself a rule follower and sees no reason to do it with her art!

A native of South Georgia, Shelley moved to Atlanta after completing her undergraduate degree. After working in the corporate world, she returned to school to obtain a Masters degree which led into teaching. Shelley is now a stay at home mom and pursues her real passion of Art.  She and her husband, Andrew, their three young girls and their springerdoodle, Hazel, live in Atlanta.
