This piece is from a privately owned collection of three mono prints from the famed, late artist Neil Doty. Doty was a true master of Modernism. He used captivating shapes and contrasting colors to create his masterpieces. He was born in Glendale, California in 1941 and his art education began at the Art Center of Design in Los Angeles. He grew in popularity during the mid 70’s, particularly with the jet setters of mid century California.
His imagery incorporates a very unique style, showing influences ranging from Picasso's cubism period to the works of Matisse and Dali. He was an artist of control and aptitude and experimented with incorporating different forms of print making.
His collectors include Elton John, Sister Sledge and is recognized in the Who’s Who of American artists.
Findings is proud to offer this series of three for sale through our Estate Collection. Each piece sold individually but price break available if wanting to purchase all three. Please contact Amy at 434-616-6376 for more information.
