Amy Spencer has always possessed an instinctive ability to  discover and create beauty in the world around her. Drawing inspiration directly from nature, her work celebrates the quiet poetry found in the unexpected—wildflowers, weeds, and other overlooked elements that might otherwise go unnoticed. Through thoughtful composition and an appreciation for organic form, Amy transforms these humble materials into works that feel both delicate and expressive.

At the heart of her creative practice is a sense of wonder. Her work invites viewers to slow down, look more closely, and  reconsider the beauty that exists within the ordinary. There is an intimacy to each piece, reflecting Amy’s belief that inspiration is often found not in the extraordinary, but in the familiar details of everyday life.

Amy lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with her husband, Ryan. Together they are raising five boys—a role she considers her most meaningful and creative work.
