Ashley Burke Ullstein is a self-taught Abstract Artist who began painting in 2021 at the age of 55. She uses bold, bright colors to create whimsical pieces meant to bring a little “happy” into the homes of her collectors. Ashley draws inspiration from her hometown of New Orleans combined with her adult years in New England and Southwest Virginia. Ashley began painting with instruction from Adele Sypesteyn in New Orleans and is a member of her Art with Adele Academy. She has since completed Nicholas Wilton’s Creative Visionary Program (CVP22) and is now a member of the CVP Academy, headquartered in Sausalito, CA. Having access to artists and instructors worldwide with a vast array of expertise in these two organizations has been the catalyst to continue to explore new techniques, mediums, and painting styles.
