Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Courtney developed a love for art as a young child and has been painting ever since.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in fine art from Belmont University where she majored in oil painting.  Courtney now lives and works as a full time mother and painter in Nashville, TN with her husband, three daughters and dog.  Courtney paints in oil and acrylics in her studio within her colorful, loud and lively home!

Inspired by light and color combinations, Courtney's goal is to utilize vibrant colors and textured strokes into a balanced composition where reality blends with her imagination. 

"I am fascinated with the rich history of Tennessee and my work tends to center on intimate scenes inspired by these local surroundings as well as personal travel.  The deep connection which I feel to my family and home helps me to find inspiration all around me."
