This is a beautiful silkscreen on thick linocut paper with hand embellishments by the artist, Leonard Beaumont.
Beaumont's works are most often associated with mid century styles and featured bright colors and metallic ink coloring and focused on Asian subjects like gardens and landscapes. Their unique aesthetic is much sought after by vintage collectors.
This piece has been given the signature Findings' treatment with some beautiful touches you won't see anywhere else... a surround of small batch wallpaper in green and off-white with hand touched accents of gold ink, two striking mouldings; one in a deep red lacquer and the other a delicately carved gold and a thin gold fillet to finish it off.
