This piece was salvaged from a series of wood relief panels that once wrapped around the cornice in a French chateau . Through time, it had lost quite a bit of its luster and leafing but I was able to give back some of its glory without losing its beautiful age and wear. The relief floats in an off white, suede paneled shadow box. The varying depths from the outer frame to the center panel is set off with the delicate gold fillet detail.
