Antique Silk Painting of Geisha with Hand Puppet

This is one in a pair of two hand painted images of Geishas on silk.  In this depiction she is holding a whimsical hand puppet and the hint of a cherry blossom tree can be seen in the upper left corner. The piece is signed in the lower left corner. 

We have added a lovely old hand painted frame in black with gold edging, a distress gold fillet around the silk panel as well as hand made paper in a cherry blossom pattern.
