The essence of The House of the Golden Radish vibe evident with the merging of antique and modern. In this piece the female figure is seated on what appears to be a tiger skin and throne.  Her attire and headdress all beckon to a bygone era. I have added gold leaf to the edges and floated it over fun, hand blocked fabric in shades of yellow, ochre, black and white. I have used the stacked framing technique featured here with an inset of white lacquered wood surrounded by this large- scale hand gilded frame. Under glass.
