Inspired by that fleeting moment, I wanted to capture not just the birds’ physical grace but the essence of liberation they embody: soaring unbound, weaving through blossoms that symbolize renewal and quiet strength. The pale blue canvas represents the vast, serene sky, a backdrop for their joyful flight, while the stylized flowers add a layer of whimsy, as if the birds are playfully conversing with the flora below. Each bird is hand-painted with acrylic and ink, layered to give a sense of movement and depth, evoking the idea that beauty thrives in diversity and motion.
Creating this work was a meditation on hope—reminding us that even in stillness, there’s potential for uplift. It’s my way of inviting viewers to pause, breathe, and imagine their own wings unfurling.
