The Music

The Carpenters' "Horizon" is a lesser-known gem in their discography, often overshadowed by their earlier hits. Released in 1977, it showcases a more mature and introspective side of the duo. The album delves into themes of love, loss, and longing, with Karen Carpenter's vocals as captivating as ever. While it may not have achieved the same commercial success as their previous work, "Horizon" is cherished by fans for its heartfelt lyrics, lush arrangements, and timeless melodies. Its rarity and unique position in the Carpenters' career make it a coveted item for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
