The Painting
Thomas Jefferson “Not For Resale” is one of many paintings of presidents. In addition to music, Keene was also inspired by Charlottesville history, which of course included TJ. He often used words on his art to “soften the blow for people to look at art. They actually try to figure it out, does it mean something?” The words “Not for Resale”, is a perfect phrase to spark conversation in the unique times we live in!
