"Like a small galaxy, these marbles circled each other and settled into this pattern, an imperfect triangle. Marbles often have an off-center weight to them, and as I photograph them for my paintings, I have to work with what they are willing to do. In this instance, they settled into this configuration and brought to my mind three planets with different atmospheres."
